Hi. Did you forget to say that this question refers to the poem "I Am Offering This Poem" by Jimmy Santiago Baca

Answer:

Explanation:

The poem aims to show how loving someone is something simple and simple that brings comfort, stability and well-being to those involved. PLZ HELP ME, 20 POINTS! In the poem the new colossus by Emma Lazarus How does the rhyme scheme and structure of the poem contrib
Angelina_Jolie [31]

Answer:

Explanation:

We have to remember that this poem was written in 1883, when America was young, fresh and in need of new life-blood from all over the world. America opened her doors to those who were shunned by their home countries, to those who wanted a better life.

Since the engraving of The New Colossus, America has absorbed millions of immigrants and is still attracting many who seek the dream. The message in this well constructed sonnet is positive and welcoming, but what does the future hold for the Mother of Exiles?

How does dehumanization and othering impact society?
ch4aika [34]

Dehumanization and othering makes a vast difference on society as a whole. It will not only change how we see our selves but what we see, believe, or even care. Humans are a very emotional, vulnerable, and some could say too dependent. It will cause, little to no uproar, as such feeling would feel restricted, so no one would say out loud, what is wrong with people or them or really do anything. because the people of that society, would feel restricted and have a invisible wall around them restricting them from normal freedom and will doubt them selves a lot. Simply we would be robots, with a mind that is not open for suggestions or something new. No one would strive to be better or put goals for them selves or even care for there lives. Thought we will not be emotionless, some would want to have fake happiness, feel superior or really do anything to gain a glimpse of there emotions. This society will lead to more psychopaths and sociopaths and even more harm to ourselves to try to gain that glimpse of emotion.

When we are born, we cried and the world rejoiced. we should live our lives so that when we die, the world cries and we rejoice?
Leto [7]
Yes. Emerson speaks of this in many of his excerpts. To live with compassion, truth, maturity. To live and To have lived well when death comes to take us. We rejoice in both life and in death as both are beauty that we have no control over time over love-life over death. So give the world something to remember you by from your life and even after your death
