Answer:

Fossils are the preserved remains, impression or traces of plants or animals that lived in the geologic past. Specimen more than 10,000 years old is usually considered as a fossil.

These fossils evidence can tell about the evolution of life as:

1. They show the existence of life in past as the oldest fossils are around 3.48 billion years.

2. They show how different life forms are related to each other.

3. Oldest rocks comprise of the fossils of the simplest organisms while complex organisms fossils are present in the newest rocks supporting the Darwinian view of evolution that complex organisms have evolved from the simple organism.

Thus, studies of fossils can tell about the evolution of life on Earth.

What are two reasons why molecules will not diffuse into cells?
AlekseyPX
Molecules are defined as the smallest particles of a chemical compound or an element, and are made up of atoms. Cells are made up of semi permiable membranes that only allow selected materials to move in or out of the cell, therefore due to the big size of molecules compared to atoms the membrane doesn't allow their passage in the cell. Therefore the cell doesn't allow most molecules to diffuse passively to the cell. Secondly, molecules that can enter the cell requires specific carriers carriers that will enable entry of small molecules in the cell.
