Which of the following problems plagued the French National Convention revolutionary government?

Answer:

d) All of the choices are correct.

Explanation:

The French Revolution was a movement of the Third Estate (as the commoner class was known) against the elites who controlled all power in France. The 3rd Estate was the bulk of the people (98% of the population), all considered "commoners." (The clergy and nobility were the 1st and 2nd Estates.) So, the 3rd Estate included those from a wealthy, bourgeois wine merchant to a day laborer in the city or a peasant farmer in the countryside. The initial leaders of the Revolution came from a bourgeois background.

When the Revolution began, it was difficult for the bourgeois leaders to manage the new government in a way that met the concerns and demands of the poorer classes (city workers and rural peasants). So the discontent of the poor and the peasants were a problem for the French National Convention. So too was the rise of the Jacobin movement, a more radical group which challenged the more conservative Girondists for power. The "Girondists" were named after the Gironde region, a wine producing region. Wealthier bourgeois types (like wine merchants) were the sort of persons in the Girondist group. The Jacobins were adamant about establishing equality for all persons in France, whereas the Girondists at times seemed more concerned about protecting the interests of businessmen for the sake of a profitable business environment.

What effect do you think the launch of spuntnick 1 had?
V125BC [204]

Sputnik one kicked off the space race between US and Russia.

Explanation:

Sputnik 1 was the first artificial satellite launched out of earth. This achievement went to the Soviets who were well ahead of Us by then in terms of sending their satellite up into space as they eventually would send multiple such satellites to space.

This prompted the US to try harder to achieve what they had done and then over top them and reach greater heights kicking off the space race.

The space race was a public view of the sinister cold war by which the two countries looked to establish their dominance over one another.

What caused the rise of feudalism in medieval europe?
lara31 [8.8K]
We are accustomed to a capitalist economy, good communication and transportation, and to solving our problems at the state or national level, so we tend to think that decentralized authority is primitive and ineffective. This is not necessarily so, and feudalism is not completely foreign to American society. Let me try to discuss feudalism from three different aspects. The paragraphs in bold will provide the sort of discussion that you are likely to find in the average college textbook; those in regular print will provide some idea of the historical conditions under which the feudal organization of society arose; and those in red will discuss the growth of an example of American feudalism with which most of you are familiar, if only through films and TV.
