I would say its because no one really decided to change anything. No one during the old ages really knew how to do anything and only used what they had and what was closest to them.

I'm going to answer these questions in reverse order:

Changes took so slowly because back then there were nomads, there was no time to think, it was all about survival they used what they had and didn't really think much about it. No one is going to get creative while starving to death, but as nomads started to form communities and learned about agriculture they didn't have to worry about food that much and were able to think more. With multiple heads (the communities) and the time given all sorts of tools were created and changed.

He Supreme Court case Gideon v. Wainwright (1963) ruled that people had the right to this regardless of the severity of the crim
Nataly [62]

Answer: A lawyer

Explanation: Gideon v. Wainwright is a landmark case in United States Supreme Court history. In this case in 1963, the Supreme Court unanimously ruled that states are required under the Sixth Amendment of the United States Constitution to provide legal counsel to defendants in felony cases who are unable to afford attorneys by themselves.

Mr Clarence Earl Gideon could not afford an attorney and his request for counsel.was denied by the Court with the excuse that the only time the court can appoint counsel to represent a defendant is when that person is charged with a capital offense.

However, Justice Clark's concurring opinion stated that the Sixth Amendment does not distinguish between capital and non-capital cases, so legal counsel must be provided for an indigent defendant in all cases.
