Answer: B. William Grayson

William Grayson was a politician in the state of North Carolina. He served as a member of the State House of Representatives from 1813 to 1815 and 1822 to 1825 and in the State Senate from 1826 to 1831. He was a frequent contributor to the Southern Quarterly Review and owned a large plantation.
