Answer:

b) 3, 4, 5

Step-by-step explanation:

A right angled triangle is a triangle in which one of its the angles is 90°. The side opposite to the 90° (right angle) is called the hypotenuse, while the sides adjacent to the right angle are called the legs.

Pythagoras discovered a property for right angles and then created a theorem. This theorem states that:

In a right angled triangle, the square of the length of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the square of the other two lengths. It is given by the equation:

c² = a² + b², where c is the length of the hypotenuse (longer length) and a, b are the other length of the triangle sides.

To prove 3, 4, 5 for a right triangle:

3² + 4² = 9 + 16 = 25 = 5²

∴ 3² + 4² = 5²

Besties pls help!!!!

8) In the diagram below, what is the m measure of R.
Dafna1 [17]

Let's see what we can fill in here.

<ACE = 130

180 - 50 = 130

Now that we have two sides and an included angle, we can use the Law of Cosines.

Law of Cosines: c^2 = a^2 + b^2 - 2ab(cos(C))

Let's plug in what we know and solve!

c^2 = 40^2 + 38^2 - 2(40)(38)(cos(130))

R = 70.69706

Hope this helps!! :)

So remember that the area of a circle is A = π * r^2, with r = radius. In this case, the radius is 1.5, and with that info our equation is A = π * 1.5^2 .

For this, all you need to do is solve the exponents, and your answer is A = 2.25π yds^2

What is the distance between the points (−5, 10) and (−5, 2) ?
Rufina [12.5K]
It is 8 units because if you start at -5,2 you will have to go up 8 units to get to -5,10. They are 8 units away from each other.
