Which sentences in this excerpt from "The Yellow Wallpaper" by Charlotte Perkins Gilman suggest that the narrator’s husband has

a condescending attitude toward her? What is it, little girl?" he said. "Don't go walking about like that—you'll get cold." I thought it was a good time to talk, so I told him that I really was not gaining here, and that I wished he would take me away. "Why, darling!" said he, "our lease will be up in three weeks, and I can't see how to leave before. "The repairs are not done at home, and I cannot possibly leave town just now. Of course if you were in any danger, I could and would, but you really are better, dear, whether you can see it or not. I am a doctor, dear, and I know." "I don't weigh a bit more," said I, "nor as much; and my appetite may be better in the evening when you are here, but it is worse in the morning when you are away!" "Bless her little heart!" said he with a big hug, "she shall be as sick as she pleases! But now let's improve the shining hours daytime by going to sleep, and talk about it in the morning!"

I lean more towards (A) because the husband is talking to his wife as a child and not as an adult which tends to describe and condescending attitude. However you could make an argument for (F).

Answer:

The sentences in this excerpt from "The Yellow Wallpaper" by Charlotte Perkins Gilman that suggest that the narrator’s husband has a condescending attitude toward her are:

"What is it, little girl?", "I am a doctor, dear, and I know." , "Bless her little heart!" and "she shall be as sick as she pleases!"

Explanation:

The Sentences or expression show the condescending attitude of her husband towards her, mainly with the kind of the language he uses, the intention of the expressions like "What is it, little girl?", "I am a doctor, dear, and I know." , "Bless her little heart!" and "she shall be as sick as she pleases!" is to make the opinions of the narrator irrelevant and unrequired, besides, her husband put himself with the only person who thinks clearly.

Ede4ka [16]

Answer:

many states have recognized the day as a holiday. People would usually be of school or work on this day.  if your community did not have celebrations then you could organize for your neighbourhood to meet either at your place or local area like a church, centre or park where you could offer free food and more information on that celebration. Using evidence and logic construct a reasoned ethical argument in support of equal pay regardless of gender
Valentin [98]

Answer:

Regardless of a persons gender they should be able to earn equal pay.

Explanation:

If we take a look at one of the oldest documents in the world it says, "All men are created equal". At that point in time it refereed to men with status, men with property, and men who where white. However, understanding the fact that many women like Rosa Parks,Amelia Earhart, and Mae C. Jemison fought for their ability to have a say and do what they dreamed. Men are given the opportunities because they were born with it. It is unfair that simply because your a man you get paid more. However, Women earn everything they get.... they fight for what they want and they put both their heart and sole into their jobs into there families and into their dreams.  Men and WoMEN should be given equal pay regardless of their gender but by the way they try everyday and the way they give their all in their jobs.
