Which sentences in this excerpt from "The Yellow Wallpaper" by Charlotte Perkins Gilman suggest that the narrator’s husband has

a condescending attitude toward her? What is it, little girl?" he said. "Don't go walking about like that—you'll get cold." I thought it was a good time to talk, so I told him that I really was not gaining here, and that I wished he would take me away. "Why, darling!" said he, "our lease will be up in three weeks, and I can't see how to leave before. "The repairs are not done at home, and I cannot possibly leave town just now. Of course if you were in any danger, I could and would, but you really are better, dear, whether you can see it or not. I am a doctor, dear, and I know." "I don't weigh a bit more," said I, "nor as much; and my appetite may be better in the evening when you are here, but it is worse in the morning when you are away!" "Bless her little heart!" said he with a big hug, "she shall be as sick as she pleases! But now let's improve the shining hours daytime by going to sleep, and talk about it in the morning!"

I lean more towards (A) because the husband is talking to his wife as a child and not as an adult which tends to describe and condescending attitude. However you could make an argument for (F).

Answer:

The sentences in this excerpt from "The Yellow Wallpaper" by Charlotte Perkins Gilman that suggest that the narrator’s husband has a condescending attitude toward her are:

"What is it, little girl?", "I am a doctor, dear, and I know." , "Bless her little heart!" and "she shall be as sick as she pleases!"

Explanation:

The Sentences or expression show the condescending attitude of her husband towards her, mainly with the kind of the language he uses, the intention of the expressions like "What is it, little girl?", "I am a doctor, dear, and I know." , "Bless her little heart!" and "she shall be as sick as she pleases!" is to make the opinions of the narrator irrelevant and unrequired, besides, her husband put himself with the only person who thinks clearly.

Hitman42 [59]
The correct option is C.
The Aborigines are people who are members of the Aboriginal race of Australia. The Aborigines have been experiencing marginalization for a very long time. They were evicted from their traditional homes and many live in abject poverty; the government of Australia does not seem to know that they exist because they don't usually feature in any government policy. But things have changed now and the government is trying to incorporate them back into the Australian society.<span />
