Can be uses at weather stations.
The have these cup looking objects attached and when the wind blows they begin to spin.  This spinning rate can determine the wind speed.

hope this is enough

An anemometer is an instrument  that measures the speed of wind.
It is used in ranging weather predictions and measure wind's pressure whether the wind velocity is high or low.
An anemometer has cups on it and when the wind blows, they spin around and one of the cups in different color so you can count how many times the colored cup goes round. If it is a high number then, that means that the wind speed is high whereas if it is a low number then, it means that the wind speed is low.<span />

The volume of groundwater flow over a given time per unit area through a body of rock or sediment is called
GenaCL600 [577]

According to geographical analysis, the volume of groundwater that flows over a given time per unit area through a body of rock or sediment is called the "<u>hydraulic head</u>."

This is because the hydraulic head is based upon the gradient of the water table, including the permeability of the rock or sediment and groundwater thickness.

Hydraulic head is calculated in the form of liquid surface elevation.

Hydraulic head is usually expressed in units of length.

Hence, in this case, it is concluded that the correct answer is "<u>hydraulic head</u>."
