Answer:

When Texas was under both Spanish control and Mexican control, their local government system was remote and fairly simple. The local government was controlled by a council known as the ayuntamiento which governed the settlement and it’s rural surrounding area. When Texas became its own republic, the local government system began to change. They adopted the county system which was similar to that of the American South. They also started a county board of justices of the peace which was lead by a county chief justice. After becoming a part of the United States, a board of commissioners was created. The Constitution of 1876 was created and outlined the requirements and responsibilities of the local government. Today, Texas has a county form of government known as a commissioners’ court. It is made up of four commissioners and a county judge. The country also has specific elected officials that provide services for the people who live within their jurisdiction.

Answer:

The evolvement of the local government of Spanish Texas was a result of the Texas government been shaped largely within the Anglo-American tradition.

Major legacies reflected in Texas constitutions today were the merger of law and equity, community property, and protection of certain personal property from forced seizure for debt which has been a common practice among the local Spanish Texans.

After the death of Franco, Spain did what?
Yanka [14]
After a 36-year rule, Franco died in 1975. He restored the monarchy before his death, which made King Juan Carlos I his successor, who led the Spanish transition to democracy. After a referendum, a new constitution was adopted, which effectively created a democratic regime in Spain.
