Our pear tree was destroyed by a massive storm recently. Many of our neighbors reported that their fruit trees were destroyed as well. Crews were called to assist in the cleaning of the massive mess of trees and branches. The crews were asked to also assist in our neighborhood. A decision was made that the fees of the clean up would be lowered because of the large spread loss of trees that had be demolished by the storm. Thanks and gratitude was sent by the whole neighborhood.

I hope I helped!!!!

What figurative language is this?

The celery snapped as my brother ate it
solniwko [45]

Answer:

Consonance

Explanation:

Consonance is the repetition of similar sounding consonants in a group of closely connected words. In the group of words as seen in the sentence above, there is similarity in the sounds produced by the words celery, snapped, ate, and it.

These consonant sounds can be found anywhere within a word or sentence but they follow each other in quick succession. It is a form of writing that holds the attention of readers as it makes it easier to draw the connection within words.
