When applying for a job you should always show yourself as a professional, skilled, clever and willing candidate. You do not need to show your humorous side when applying for a job. If you show as a humorous person you may seem unprofessional, uneducated and immature, so that the employee won't think you fit for a serious position that requires high level of responsibility.
I would say false because when you have a job alot of bosses tend to be kind of tensed up all the time and having a funny voicemail can show your boss how much you goof off while you could be getting work done
