Answer: Chronological is not a mode of writing.

Explanation: The modes of writing are related to the purpose that authors have when writing a text. In some cases, this purpose may be presenting factual information to the readers or narrating situations in order to entertain them. Moreover, another purpose may be describing a process or convincing readers of adopting a particular point of view. Therefore, there are four modes of writing: expository, narrative, descriptive and persuasive. "Chronological" is not a mode of writing since it does not make reference to a purpose but to a form in which information can be organized.
