How did the Church use art to help strengthen their argument about the nature of Jesus?
Sati [7]

Answer:

I don't know how long you needed it to be, But here is a good paragraph for you!

Explanation:

Catholic art is art produced by or for members of the Catholic Church. This includes visual art (iconography), sculpture, decorative arts, applied arts, and architecture. In a broader sense, Catholic music and other art may be included as well. Expressions of art may or may not attempt to illustrate, supplement and portray in tangible form Catholic teaching. Catholic art has played a leading role in the history and development of Western art since at least the 4th century. The principal subject matter of Catholic art has been the life and times of Jesus Christ, along with people associated with him, including his disciples, the saints, and motifs from the Catholic Bible. Though there are many churches today, the catholic church is the one that has used the most art to show meanings.

Which is an example of a reason why historical interpretations may change over time

loris [4]

Answer:

Historians are always finding new pieces of evidence to change interpretations

Explanation:

If a historian were to find something on the Pyramids of Giza 10 years ago and made the assumption that "The Pyramids were built for people", a new piece of evidence recently found could change that, and see that "The Pyramids were built for gods"

(I don't know if this assumption about the Pyramids is true, I just thought of the first thing in mind)

What is jefferson's attitude towards native americans? What conflicting thoughts does he have about them?
kirill115 [55]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

What is Jefferson's attitude towards native Americans?

The attitude of US President Thomas Jefferson towards Native American Indian tribes was ambivalent. Sometimes he publicly expressed his respect for Native American Indians and felt sorry about their situation, but on the other hand, he knew that he had to move them away to allow white settlers to occupy their territories to work the land.

That was exactly his conflicting thoughts about them. How to move them west the Mississippi to allow white people to settle in those lands and make them productive.

After the Lewis and Clark Expedition in 1806, Jefferson was convinced that those territories had to be given to white settlers to make profits.
