Earth is a sphere. The reason the earth is a sphere is because a long time ago a big rock called earth was created, later when atmosphere was forming the earth's centrifugal force aka rotation shaped earth into a sphere by burning down high peaks and bumps.

Answer:

the higher the elevation, the lower the temp. so like if the elevation in super low, than the temp if high, and if the elevation is high, the temp in low. i don't really know if that's helpful but that is what the chart is showing
