Metaphysical poetry  belongs to the 17th century and it dealt with  strong feelings. These were mainly related to understanding reality.  The following item is generally true about Metaphysical poetry:

C. <em>It uses deeply religious content</em>. The poets question the existence of God since metaphysics means comprehensing relaity beyond scientific and rational reality.

These items are not generally true about metaphysical poetry :

A. It illustrates the ideal of platonic love. Metaphysical poetry <em>criticises</em> the ideal of <em>platonic love</em>.

B. It is steeped in scientific imagery. Although Metaphyiscal poetry was sometimes related to science, it was not full of scientific imaginary. It was full of abstract ideas.
