The southern Italy is poorer than the North. Southern part has always been and agriculture based economy and there is very low entrepreneurial attitude among the people and no specialisation in economy. Brain Drain has also been a big issue for the Italians as the southern Italians has been leaving for the north ans south America. Since there is no jobs in other sectors of economy hence the government has been creating jobs for the purpose of giving jobs to people and it is not a good way to revive the economy.
