The correct answer is - D. regional unity or identity.

The people from the Caribbean are a mixture of multiple ethnicities from the African continent, and some elements from the Europeans as well. Their languages, cultures, way of life have been influenced by multiple different sources and they represent a very interesting mixture of cultures. Mostly the people from the Caribbean countries, even though they speak different languages and are parts of different countries, they identify themselves by the region itself, not by ethnicity or the nation, and it is this unity that is very interesting and that holds them together as communities.

blsea [12.9K]

Answer:

The Great Leap Forward reversed the downward trend in mortality that had occurred since 1950, though even during the Leap, mortality may not have reached pre-1949 levels. Famine deaths and the reduction in number of births caused the population of China to drop in 1960 and 1961
