What is the theme of The Raip of the Lock? Does this theme apply today?

There are many themes that one could play into here. One of these themes are women and femininity. While they couldn't live without the women they couldn't stand to live with them. They viewed it as just about impossible. In the time that this takes place women were seen as inferior to men which is applied in The Raip of the Lock. On the other hand Clarissa's speech shows the attitude of the women while advising that should simply suck it up and deal with the situation. This theme could very much be applied today because while women have gained many rights there is still much more work to be done.

The answer is A. Sodas are not as good for you to drink as water and energy drinks.
The passage states that drinks like water and energy drinks provide "better hydration" than soft drinks due to the low amounts of sodium and sugar; therefore, water and energy drinks are healthier than soda.

Hope this helps! :)
