What was the main reason American colonists considered the Stamp Act to be unfair?
Masteriza [31]

Answer:

That it was an example of taxation without representation, is the right answer.

Explanation:

The Stamp Act was passed by the British Parliament on 22nd March 1765.  With the enactment of this act, the British government put a direct tax on all paper documents such as newspaper, permits, wills and even on playing cards.

The American colonists ejected a unified protest against this act. They held that the act was unfair and the main reason for claiming this act as unfair was that the tax did not give representation to the American colonies meaning this act was imposed on American colonies without the consent of the colonial legislature. Accordingly, the American-colonists raised the slogan "No taxation without representation."

D This is where cool, moist air in the lower levels meets up with higher, warm, dry air.

Explanation:

Most tornadoes are found in the Great Plains of the central United States – an ideal environment for the formation of severe thunderstorms. In this area, known as Tornado Alley, storms are caused when dry cold air moving south from Canada meets warm moist air traveling north from the Gulf of Mexico.
