Hey You!

You can really eat whatever you'd like to eat on Christmas, but some people might like to prepare special food for the occasion. What I mean by 'special' is rare or traditional, such as boiling ham and vegetables, making a huge meal, and preparing something very lavish. People may throw feasts, which would have a lot food. I know many people that are preparing turkey for their Christmas dinner.

Whatever you want. Generally someone will ask what everyone in the household would like and make a menu from that. Some people have traditions that they stick to, but there's no one thing. In my family gumbo is a must, for us that's tradition.

Determine whether the subordinate clause in the sentence below is an adjective clause, an adverb clause, or a noun clause.
LUCKY_DIMON [66]

Answer:

b. Adjective clause

Explanation:

The subordinate clause in this sentence is "who bought me a puppy for my birthday" and it functions as an adjective because it modifies the noun phrase "the one" (like adjectives and adjective phrases, adjective clauses describe or add information about a noun element in the sentence).

dybincka [34]
The answer is C) An explanation is informative, while an argument is persuasive. When someone is explaining something to you, they are giving you facts. They are trying to teach you with facts, not opinions. On the other hand, an argument is persuasive. They are trying to get you to take their side. It is not fact, it is opinion. Your answer is C.
