1) When an angle is bisected, the 2 new angles created are congruent. That means if <RSQ = 30, <QST = 30 as well and <RST is <RSQ + <QST = 30 + 30 = 60

So 60 is your answer.

2) ZM = ZX so if ZM = 4, ZX = 4 as well.

So  4 is your answer.

In a football game, Kingston can make a touchdown worth 6 points or a field goal worth 3 points. Kingston scored a total of 15 p
bagirrra123 [75]
<h3>Answer: Choice A</h3>

6x+3y = 15

========================================================

Work Shown:

x = number of touchdowns

y = number of field goals

6x = points only from the touchdowns (ignore the fieldgoals for now)

3y = points only from the field goals (ignore the touchdowns for now)

6x+3y = total number of points from both categories combined

6x+3y = 15 since Kingston scored 15 points overall

-------------------------

Extra info (optional section)

We don't have enough info to fully nail down what x and y are in terms of numbers, but let's say he scored y = 1 field goal.

Then x would be,

6x+3y = 15

6x+3(1) = 15

6x+3 = 15

6x = 15-3

6x = 12

x = 12/6

x = 2

This tells us that Kingston scored 2 touchdowns if he scored 1 field goal.

2 touchdowns + 1 field goal = 2*6 + 1*3 = 12 + 3 = 15 points total

The ordered pair (x,y) = (2,1) is one solution to that equation.

Another solution is (x,y) = (1,3) following similar steps as shown above.

The third solution is (x,y) = (0,5). Each time x goes down by 1, y goes up by 2 and vice versa.

We only have 3 solutions in this case because x & y are nonnegative whole numbers. If x and/or y were allowed to be any real number, then we'd have infinitely many solutions.

If each face on a standard die shows a number,1,2,3,4, 5 or 6.If the die is tossed 30 times, how many times would you expect to
Vikki [24]

Answer:

We should get a 3 about 5 times

Step-by-step explanation:

Possible outcomes 1,2,3,4,5,6

P(3) = number of 3's / total = 1/6

Expect a 3 = number of rolls * probability of a three

                  = 30 * 1/6

                       =5

What equation is generated if f(x) = x is moved to the right 5 units and then down 8 units?
timurjin [86]

Answer:  A)  f(x) = (x-5)-8

Explanation:

To shift 5 units to the right, we replace x with x-5. This moves the xy axis 5 units to the left to give the illusion the function curve moves 5 units to the right. The -8 at the end shifts the curve down 8 units.

A table is on sale for 464 , which is 36% less than the regular price.
viva [34]
The original price was 725.
Explanation:
"36% less than" means taking 36% away from 100%. 100-36 is 64, so 64% remains when 36% is taken away. So, 64% of the original table's price is 464.
So, if the original price was x, 464=0.64x
Solve this by dividing both sides by 0,64:
725=x
So, the original price was 725.
