butalik [34]

Answer:

The Northern Colonies relied on free systems of labor, in which people were not subjected to any restrictions to their personal liberty. This made the labor market more dynamic.

The Colonies of the Tidewater region, specially Virgnia, relied on indentured servants: a labor system that consisted in bringing European settlers to work for free for a few years, until they could pay off their trip expenses.

Finally, the Southern Colonies, specially South Carolina and Georgia, relied on the slavery of African Americans, which was not a new labor system at all, but that underwent some changes in the colonial period, related to the scale and commercialization of the enslaved labor.

You want to learn about your congresspersons voting record where would you find information on how they voted
Natasha_Volkova [10]
The official record of congressional votes is published by the government, and it's known as the "Congressional Record" - that's where you should look for the information you need.

It is printed daily (whenever there is a session) and available on the official site of the government. You can see there the individual votes and also the number of votes for and against.

How did the Compromise of 1850 affect the issues of expansion?
Agata [3.3K]

Compromise of 1850 affected the issues of expansion as its allowed the territories gained in the Mexican-American War to become states.

What did the Compromise of 1850 do?

Compromise of 1850 admitted California as a free state and left Utah and New Mexico to decide for themselves whether to be a slave state or a free state.

Its also defined a new Texas-New Mexico boundary which makes it easier for slaveowners to recover runways under the Fugitive Slave Act of 1850.

Therefore, the Option B is correct.
