Answer:

Jenny age is 13 yrs                                                                                        &  Miki  is 9 yrs old.

Step-by-step explaination:

Given that Jenny is four years older than miki.

Therefore, let Miki present age = x yrs

⇒ Jenny present age = (x+4) yrs

Five years ago, Miki and Jenny age was

Miki age = (x-5) yrs

& Jenny age = (x+4-5) yrs i.e (x-1) yrs

No, it is given that five years ago jenny was twice as old as miki

∴ (x-1) = 2(x-5)

⇒ x-1 = 2x-10

⇒ x = 10-1 = 9

Hence,  Miki present age = x yrs = 9 yrs

⇒ Jenny present age = (x+4) yrs = 9+4 = 13 yrs

If Jenny was twice Miki's age, and also, she is 4 years old, it means that Jenny was 8 years old and Miki was 4 years old. As this happened five years ago, then currently: Jenny = 8 + 5 = 13 years and Miki = 4 + 5 = 9 years.
Finally, Jenny is 13 years old and Miki is 9 years old.

Explanation:

Trading securities refer to those securities which are purchased not with the intention of holding them till maturity, but to realize the gains arising as a consequence of short term price movements.

Bonds refer to debt instruments issued by the borrower for raising long term finance whereby the borrower promised to pay fixed coupon rate of interest on timely basis and principal repayment upon redemption.

In the given case, bonds purchased with the intention of selling in the near future with an objective to benefit from short term price movements represent trading securities. The benefit would be in the form of short term capital appreciation.

Snowcat [4.5K]

Answer:

13%

Explanation:

To solve for the IRR we first need the formula

NPV=\sum_0^3 (\frac{CF_t}{(1+r)^t}

where NPV is the net present value, CF_t is the cash flow in period t, and r is the IRR (internal rate of return)

Solving this polynomial can be quite cumbersome. Thankfully excel has a built in function that we can take advantage of call IRR

As shown in the screen shot we write the cash flow, with the first one with the negative sign. Then we call the IRR function selecting the cells with our Cash Flow values and excel will return the IRR. In this case is 13%

svet-max [94.6K]

Answer: $64.76

Explanation:

The current share price in this case will be the present value of the dividends,

As the dividends are constant, they can be treated as annuities.

Present value of annuity = Annuity * ( 1 - (1 + rate)^-number of periods) / rate

= 9.45 * ( 1 - (1 + 10.7%)⁻¹³) / 10.7%

= 9.45 * 6.8529386295

= $64.76
