Contras. Part of the Iran Contra affair, where after congress decided to stop funding the anti-communist Contras in Nicaragua, Ronald Reagan and Oliver North illicitly sold arms to the Iranians, and used that money to fund the Contras, who were fighting the pro-communist Sandinistas.
