This allows us to understand our feelings, motivations, desires, values, etc. Some of these feelings might be negative, however, we should still try to confront them. Confronting our feelings can help us understand why we do the things we do. It can also help us get rid of emotional baggage which might be limiting our potential. It is a difficult process and its achievement demonstrates strength, not weakness.
