Explanation: A dominant allele has power over the recessive allele and between the two, has a higher chance of being prominent and seen over the recessive allele in the trait. For example, for a recessive allele to determine the trait, there has to be two. If there is a recessive allele and a dominant allele, the dominant allele will always dominant the trait.
