There are many benefits of being a volunteer. Firstly volunteering helps to reduce your stress as this helps to give you a peace of mind. Secondly volunteering enables you to find new friends. While helping out in your community, you might be able to find friends of your age. Thirdly, you will be able to learn new skills. Most probably you will be able to learn respect and responsibility. These are one of the few important values you need in life. Lastly, giving to people can also help you to protect mental and physical health.
