Georgia and other southern states seceded, or left, the rest of the United States, known as the Union, in 1861. Soon afterward,

these states formed the Confederate States of America. While in the Confederacy, Georgians flew the Confederate flag. The Stars and Bars—as it was known—looked similar to the United States flag. It had two thick red stripes, one thick white stripe, and a blue field in the top-left corner. The blue field contained a circle of seven white stars. The stars represented the seven states in the Confederacy. Soon after the Civil War began, Confederate soldiers noticed that the Stars and Bars caused confusion on the battlefield. The flag looked too similar to the American flag. Therefore, during battle, the Confederate states flew the Confederate battle flag. This flag had a red background with crossed blue stripes. The blue stripes contained thirteen white stars.
The effect was that the Stars and Bars flag caused confusion on the battlefield. What was the cause?

A)
None of the soldiers recognized it.

B)
The shape of the flag was a triangle.

C)
It looked too similar to the American flag.

D)
It was too small to be seen from a distance

PLEASE HELP GIVING 50 PTS
Nonamiya [84]

Answer:

D.He shakes their hands says he’ll allow the conspirators to prove their actions were justified.

Explanation:

The question refers to the Shakespeare's play "Julius Caesar". After the conspirators assassinated Caesar, they invited Anthony to decide his faith.

Deeply saddened by his friend's brutal slaughter, he's not convinced that the conspirators' act was justified.

Realizing that the only way to avenge Caesar's death is to make false allegiance to them, he initiates a friendly gesture of handshake.

In this way, he symbolically marks them as culprits and makes them targets for his vengeance

100 POINTS PLEASE HELP ASAP!!!!!!!
Igoryamba

Answer: D

Explanation: "Mayor Dixon" has an OPINION (bias) that he wants teens to get afterschool jobs. Bias is not facts, but opinions. A would not be it because even though it may be offensive, it's not just someone's opinion on the topic. B isn't it, since the student is asking for help. And its not C either because that is a fact, and if it was biased against the teens, that would be contradicting the statement since its showing that the teens DID do something, and volunteered, sort of like a job.
