Russia was unhappy with the results of the Treaty of Versailles because it was left out of the talks. The reason for this was that Russia had negotiated a separate peace treaty with Germany. This separate treaty was very harsh and awarded Germany  large parts of Russian land. 

<span>The Treaty of Versailles ended World War I. The peace talks that ended the war were between Germany and the Allies. France's aim was to weaken Germany as much as possible so that she could not attack the Allied nations again </span>
