It was the most recent glacial period of the North American ice sheet complex. He was the last one who knew the Earth and with it the Pleistocene. They were used by man for his passage to America. During this period, large areas of the Earth's surface were occupied by layers of ice, the climate cooled globally, which affected even the tropics and caused a marine regression that diminished the surface of the oceans and seas </span>
