Typically the statements emphasize the importance of the info being presented. The teacher could say things like "this is very important" or "here's what you need to remember". If they repeat the info multiple times, that also indicates that you need to know that info and should therefore put it in your notes. However, many teachers will just tell you "this should be in your notes" to ensure you know.

16.Read paragraphs 12–14 individually, and write a paragraph explaining how McGonigal expands her initial claim in this section.
olasank [31]

According to paragraphs 12 - 14 of the text "Reality Is Broken: Why Games

Make Us Better and How They Can Change the World (Part One)" by Jane McGonigal, PhD, McGonigal expatiates on the initial claim by providing very strong evidence by way of statistics.

What is McGonigal's Initial Claim?

The above writer's initial claim as enumerated in the first paragraph, though a simple sentence, is that Gamers no longer find reality interesting hence, they are moving to virtual reality through games.

The textual evidence for this is given below:

"Gamers have had enough of reality"

What is a claim?

A claim is a bundle of operational facts that creates a legal right that may be enforced in court.

Although certain situations favor one of the expressions over the other, the term claim is typically equivalent with the phrase cause of action.

What is MOST ironic about the fact that Hippolyta has become betrothed to Theseus in Act 1?
balandron [24]
I think the answer is D. Theseus conquered Hippolyta and won her love through war. This is ironic because one usually does not usually associate love with war.
