Which of the following is something you should NOT do when revising your writing for repetitiveness?
IRISSAK [1]

Answer:

B. Replace repetitive words with pronouns.

Explanation:

When revising repetitive writing, you can replace repetitive words with synonyms, combine sentences with repeated words, and/or delete sentences with similar ideas. You can do this because these help the writing to flow smoother and more efficiently.

On the other hand, replacing repetitive words with pronouns is what you should not do. Read the example that follows:

<em>"I love cats. I love cats so much I want to own a cat one day."</em>

You can see how it is repetitive, right? Now if you replaced the repeating words with pronouns...

<em>"I love cats. I love them so much I want to own them one day."</em>

It does not fix the problem, right?

On the other hand, if you combined the sentences and replace the worlds with synonyms:

<em>"I love cats, so much so that I want to own one someday."</em>

It fixes the issue, correct?

Hope this helps!

Essay about travel exerience
Harman [31]

I can't write an entire essay for you, especially since I am not you and don't know about your travel experiences. But, I can give you some tips on writing this essay.

-If you have never traveled long distance talk about a short distance experiences and expand the story, maybe make something up. Short distance experiences could be something like going to a family members house, going to a museum, etc. If you still can't think of anything then make up an entire story and hopefully this will be good.

-Try to base it off of a personal of some kind if you end up making up the entire story, this can really give mood to your story.

-If you simply don't know how to write this entire essay then make it come from the heart, pour everything out on paper. You can do the fixing later. Sometimes its perfect just the way it is, and if your essay does turn out like this, don't bother trying to change it.

-Try to give "filler" details, that aren't exactly necessary to make your word count higher, if you have a minimum word count, that is.

I hope this helped you out and if not then I'm sorry. If you have any other questions feel free to comment on this and I will try to answer them.
