The Catholic Church decided to reform and revive the Catholics and so they formed the catholic reformation movement in response to the protestant reformation movement. This movement mainly aimed at preserving the goals and then to make the members loyal to the church and to protect the people against the abuses made by the protestants and to reframe some of the principles.

The reformation movement mainly brought the unity among the Catholics and to make the people believe in Christianity and to bring them up more in faith. This reformation included many wars and revising the political norms and the reforms of the Catholic Church and they ended up in uniting the Catholics.
