Answer:

C) Clover feels frustrated at what has happened at the farm and at her inability to stop it.

Explanation:

" If she could have spoken her thoughts, it would have been to say that this was not what they had aimed at when they had set themselves years ago to work for the overthrow of the human race." Here she thinks of how she Could've spoken her thoughts and perhaps could've had an influence on the events, but now, she has lost hope, with no picture of the future with just terror and control everywhere. The other options don't really work with the text as the last sentence: "There was no thought of rebellion or disobedience in her mind." goes against A and she was for Old Major's beliefs, but is distraught that the society has gone completely away from what they were. Hope this helps, idk why the other answer is that from another question.

Answer: Thomas Malthus, who studied population growth.

Thomas Malthus was an English scholar. He is particularly well-known because of his studies on population growth. He realized that, when food production in a nation improved, population tended to go up. However, this change did not last long, as population growth restored the original per capita production level. Therefore, instead of using surplus for improving standards of living, humans tend to use it to increase population. These conclusions were carefully studied by Darwin, and they helped him develop his own theories on natural selection.

After the optimism of the Renaissance, neoclassical writers strived for structure, order, and balance. The cultural trend change
Phantasy [73]

According to Zygmunt BaumanIt we live in a liquid world, that is we are overwhelmed by information, relationships are not mostly meant to last, things change at a pace never seen before by humans, having said this, our literary culture is bombarded by mass produced literature, for instance the Twilight saga and the Harry Porter saga which by themselvesis not bad but it seems that people compete to say how many book they have read, but the question is how many books have they really read? Although I wouldn't change much of the writying style, I don't think there is a general school of writing nowadays so anyone can be romantic, barroque, neoclassic, moden, what suits them, but the approach to reading for details and cross reference to traditional and classic must be preserved. There is no denial that more people read now but they need to be taught how to read critically and challenge the classic tropes, but not by enacting newer tropes, for instance I am yet to see a prodigalson story emphasising and redeeming the older brother.

The government cannot have a say on cultural matters, the max they can do is help promote new artists.

It certainly differs to the mass production approach of publishers, as everyboidey else they need money so it is understandable that they encourage this liquid approach to reading, the faster you read, the more books you will buy, so although we have analysed the phenomenom it is difficult to pass a final judgement on how things ought to be.

Write a story two heads are better than one
kirill115 [55]

Ansnwer:

Lets see! You can do a story of a man that is tying to get his gardening done all by himself and then he finds a snake in his grass and hes trying to get it out but it wont leave. He tries all of these ways to get the snake out but they dont work and then a young man tries to help him but he wont allow him to help. Until eventually the man tries to pick up the snake and then gets bit he then looks around at his yard and then he see's that if he had just have listened to the young man his yard wouldnt have been ruined. You can do something like that! Just add some dialoge and some ideas and you'll be good!

How does this quotation add credibility to Freedman’s line that the voyage was an ordeal, but it was worth it? It comes from a r
irakobra [83]

Answer:

It comes from a reliable source Edward Corsi was not only an immigrant himself but also a Commissioner of Immigration.

Explanation:

'Immigrant Kids' is a book written by Russell Freedam on the lives of children who came as an immigrant to America. These young kids had to work as a labour in many industries to earn money. The book also sheds light on American dream for a new comer to America.

The quotation 'that the voyage was an ordeal, but worth it' were said by Edward Corsi, who himself was a ten-year old immigrant in 1907. He sailed to New York Harbour as a ten-year old immigrant. Edward Corsi, then, later became tthe Commissioner of Immigration as well.

So, the quote is credible because it is coming from a reliable source, Edward Corsi. Thus the correct answer is the last option.
