So, let's multiply 2/5 by 7/10. The reason I know to multiply is because of the word "of". Of is a multiplication word, so let's multiply.
2/5×7/10=14/50
The reason I know that I could simplify it is because the numbers are both even, so they are able to get split.
14/50=7/25
7 is a prime number and 25 is not divisible by 7, so 7/25 is 2/5 of 7/10 in simplest form.

Keith_Richards [23]
Supplementary angles are two angles which sum up to 180 degrees while complementary angled are those the sum is 90 degrees. Therefore, the complementary of 41.4 is 90-41.4 = 48.6 and the supplement would be 180-41.4= 138.6.

\qquad \tt \rightarrow \: Acceleration_{dog} = 0

\large \tt Solution  \: :

A dog is moving at a constant speed of 8 m/s, that concludes that there's no change in its speed with respect to time.

And Acceleration is define as rate of change in velocity, but since velocity/speed is constant. change in velocity = 0

Henceforth, Acceleration of dog is 0 as well.

Your car averages 380 miles on a 14-gallon tank of gas. You run out of gas on a deserted highway, but have 1/2 gallon of lawn mo
spin [16.1K]

Hey!

Hope this helps...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So to solve this, we want to know how many miles can we do in every 1 gallon of gas.
To solve this, we do: 380 / 14 = 27.14 miles for every 1 gallon
Okay, so if we have 1/2 a gallon stashed away, how far can we get on every 1/2 gallon...
To solve this, we do: 27.14 / 2 = 13.57 miles for every 1/2 gallon
So...
The answer is: We will NOT be able to get to the Gas Station that is 15miles away, because we can only go about 13.5 miles with every 1/2 gallon.
