What is one possible theme of the poem? A. Cherry blossoms are beautiful when they bloom all at once. B. Things that are importa
prohojiy [21]

This is definetly a tricky one, but you have to go back to the definition and meaning of 'theme.' A theme is the life lesson of a story or any other form of writing, movies, etc. So, I am not 100% on this, so I will say why I think for each answer. A; I definetly do not think it is A. B; doesn't sound right for me because even though the person in the poem is waiting for the bloom, he/she isn't talking just about waiting, he/she is talking about the time that is going by. C; It sounds like the cherry blossoms may bloom every year, but its not completely clear and doesn't fully match a theme. D; It sounds like the man/women is contemplating the life they have lived through seeing the cherry blossom for years. So I would say the and answer is D since that makes the most sense to me. Hope this helps! :)

Information on the number of books that previous Nobel Prize winners have published

A line from Tarantula and Chronicles: Volume One that a literary critic uses to argue that Dylan's lyrics are not poetry

What do you mean by rebuttal?

The spoken act of disputing by making a counterargument or claim.

A rebuttal involves countering a claim or accusation with proof.

Dylan was accused of not meeting the criteria for literature, hence his song was disqualified from candidacy for the Nobel Prize.

Options A and C back up his argument since, according to to option A, data show that the books written by previous winners were more numerous than those written by Dylan.

By including quotations from a literary critic who argues that Dylan's songs are in fact not poetry, Option C furthers the argument against the reply.
