Answer:

American trade deficit that year was of $11 billion.

Explanation:

The question refers to the result of the trade balance of the year in question. If the total of expenditures for imports is greater than the income from exports, there is a deficit in the trade balance. Conversely, if export earnings are greater than import expenditures, there is a surplus in the trade balance.

In the case, having spent $16 billion, and only having entered 5 billion dollars, the final result is a deficit of 11 trillion dollars in the trade balance.

ILL GIVE YOU BRAINLIESR!!How did the economic and political policies of President Herbert Hoover and FDR differ? *
Pepsi [2]

Answer:

The second option: FDR took more action to fix the depression.

Explanation:

As one of the new-era Democrats, FDR implemented a series of changes famously known as the "New Deal." These legislative policies included everything from social security, tax reform, banking reform, and aggressive  policies meant to tackle the Great Depression.

Hoover on the other hand, was much more laid back in his economic policies. Do note however, I'm assuming these questions refer to the great depression. If they do not, there is a good chance the answer could also be the fourth one.
