I believe it is the first airplane, I am being taught this, even though some say it was the Wright brothers, but they created the first successful plane. Leonardo created it but it was not successful but it affected his time because many were amazed, inspired and some like the Wright brothers thought of making it work. It made Leonardo think and made him think more about detail in his work.
