The spread of the agriculture led to the rise of class society. Neolithic revolution was made possible by climate change at the end of the last Ice age. Neolithic revolution started in the Middle East. Agriculture was discovered independently at several locations in the world. In the Middle East rye, emmer and einkorn were cultivated about 8,000 BC.
