This is an electric object of converting mechanical energy to produce a source of electrical power as the output. The mechanical energy is used usually supplied through the dynamic movement of charges in the wire as it winds through the electric circuit that is externally placed.
It is, however, essential to understanding that generators do not generate electric energy but uses the mechanical energy that is supplied to it to enable movement of electrical charges that bare available in the wires for its action.
