The given measurements may or may not determine a triangle. If not, then state that no triangle is formed. If a triangle is form

ed, then use the Law of Sines to solve the triangle, if it is possible, or state that the Law of Sines cannot be used. B = 153°, c = 10, b = 14

Answer:

The given triangle is possible.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given, the measurement of triangle ABC are,

∠ B = 153°, c = 10, b = 14,

By the law of sine,

\frac{sin C}{c}=\frac{sin B}{b}

By cross multiplication,

sin C = \frac{c\times sin B}{b}

By substituting the values,

sin C=\frac{10\times sin 153^{\circ}}{14}

sin C=0.324278928386

\implies \angle C=18.9218948147\approx 18.922^{\circ}

Since, with help of sin law we found the measurement of the unknown angle of the triangle.

Hence, the given triangle is possible.

Answer:

y = 10 + 2.50h

$25

Step-by-step explanation:

first the equation is written as such because she pays $10 no matter how many hours she rides. She also pays 2.50 for each hour so use h as the variable to define number of hours she rides the bike.

since equation is y = 10 +2.50h

and h = 6 hours, substitute and find the total cost

y = 10 + 2.50(6)

= 10 + 15

= $25

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Assuming you want to find the value of n.

\sqrt{\frac{p}{q} } =(\frac{q}{p}) ^{1-2n} \\

Remember when bases are same exponents can be made equal

Here the bases are different

because notice on one side there is p/q and on the other q/p

what can we do to make them same?

You can invert the any side you want either make leftside as q/p or make right one as p/q

I will make left side as q/p

All you do is flip the denominator and numerator to do so. But that can only be done if you put a (-1) in the exponent

so underroot p/q means (p/q)^1/2 when i make it q/p

a negative one needs to be put in the exponent. That -1 when multiplied by 1/2 makes it -1/2

Now the bases are same such like.

(\frac{q}{p} )^{-1/2} = (\frac{q}{p}) ^{1-2n}

See now the bases are same, the powers can be made equal

so

-1/2=1-2n

here n is the variable we need to find

rearrange the equation

n=3/4
