I feel that is not only immorally wrong but heartless. Homeless people don't need to be exploited for millions of dollars that they won't even come close to. They need a home to live in. The press coverage in India doesn't help anyone but Hollywood, the more money they make the more greedy they get. The more greedy they get makes them find new ways to make even more money with little to no regard of how the problem actually affects people. Last but not least, I feel that movies such as Slumdog Millionaire do not properly explain poverty and what it's like to be a child living in poverty. They have to find a way to romanticize it and make it physically appealing on the big screen so they can make money. If there's one thing that I'm aware of it, it is that poverty of any sort isn't romantic, or appealing.
