In at least one hundred words, discuss the significance of the speaker's rhetorical questions in relationship to the development
bekas [8.4K]

Answer:

Explanation:

The rhetorical question in this poem is asking about the development of a child. It's apparent that kids ask millions of questions, which is the most effective way children know the world and a part of the world becomes their lives, by asking questions, things become clearer to them and their development improves. That is the tool employed by Whitman to show the speaker's development throughout the poem.

Children are known to be very inquisitive, they want to learn about the world they are in, they want to make sense of their environment and every existence, so the only way for them to achieve this is by asking existential questions.

the word pseudo-employees is an example of Select one: a. overly formal language. b. confusing technical jargon. c. the speaker'
aliya0001 [1]

Answer:

D. a new word created by joining a prefix to an existing word.

Explanation:

Pseudo-employees isn't a word that exists, instead the author created it by combining the prefix pseudo (meaning fake/false) with the word employees. Since it is not a word that exists, it is not a or b, and the author is not directly addressing the audience and giving them a compliment, so it is not c.

Which pronoun correctly completes the elliptical clause? Why did Ms. Campbell give Robin more lines in the play than __________?
soldier1979 [14.2K]
Why did Ms. Campbell give Robin more lines in the play than us?
You need to use us here, because us is an objective pronoun (and you need to use an indirect object here), and we is used to denote a subject.
