Answer: As adults, these children might struggle to improve their standard of living.

Explanation:

Child labor is considered work carried out by minors before having the legal age to work. That is, before the age of 18.

At the beginning of the industrial era, there were no rights for workers, who had extreme working conditions. In the absence of any regulation, it was common for factories to hire children to do the jobs with a lower payment than they paid an adult. Also, children were exposed to accidents, illnesses, or mutilations.

Because of this, when children grew up, it was unlikely that their living conditions improved; usually these children died at a young age in extreme poverty.

This situation did not help to have a healthy economy for the country since the quality of life of the inhabitants was not high.

I hope this information can help you.

Padma is most likely experiencing a manic episode.
Manic episodes are prolonged moments of extreme happiness or irritability (one or the other) which can last for days or weeks. The person experiencing a manic episode will feel elated, euphoric, as if they could do anything in the world. It is important to get a check-up because manic episodes might hint at bipolar disorder.

Where did the british empire expand to and why did they choose these places?
lutik1710 [3]

Answer:

The British Empire was composed of the dominions, colonies, protectorates, mandates, and other territories ruled or administered by the United Kingdom and its predecessor states. It began with the overseas possessions and trading posts established by England between the late 16th and early 18th centuries. At its height it was the largest empire in history and, for over a century, was the foremost global power.[1] By 1913 the British Empire held sway over 412 million people, 23 per cent of the world population at the time,[2] and by 1920 it covered 35,500,000 km2 (13,700,000 sq mi),[3] 24 percent of the Earth's total land area. As a result, its constitutional, legal, linguistic, and cultural legacy is widespread. At the peak of its power, it was described as "the empire on which the sun never sets", as the sun was always shining on at least one of its territories.[4]

Explain five ways by which man can adapt the environment to his needs

Oksana_A [137]

Explanation:

The best way is to give the environment over entirely to the fossil-fuel industry to exploit for its “needs.” The horrific human arrogance that holds that our species has “dominion” over the Earth has produced the worst catastrophe in human history. So please, go ahead and continue to believe that “man” can and should “adapt the environment to his needs.” We are doomed now, since governments have been reluctant to act to reduce fossil-fuel use. WE are not - repeat: NOT - the only forms of life on the planet. Moreover, contrary to the wicked pronouncements of religions, especially Christianity, WE do not - repeat, NOT - have “dominion” over the Earth. Hope that answer is satisfactory for this question. If not, please go to the Internet and watch videos of California in flames, Bangladesh in strangling floods, and do read the last article of Bill McKibben, one of the great climate-change journalists in the world, and see that we are now going over the cliff, thanks to the monstrous Republican regime in the US, with the aid of other countries, to extinction. It is not so much that WE matter. There are many other species on Earth and human beings have succeeded now in wiping out 60 percent of them.
