Most modern forms of transportation are powered by fossil fuels. Carbon dioxide, methane, carbon monoxide, and other gases are r

eleased into the atmosphere during the production and combustion of these fuels. How might these gases cause climatic changes? These gases have no effect on atmospheric temperatures, so they are unable to cause any type of climatic changes. These gases cause more water vapor to condense, making climates wetter than they were in the past. These gases reduce the amount of thermal energy escaping into space, effectively warming the atmosphere.

The correct answer is the last option.

The first option (unable to cause climate change) is incorrect because these gases do effect the atmospheric temperatures by increasing them.
The second option is incorrect because while these gases do cause more water vapor to condense, they result in acid rain (not wetter climates).

Greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide, methane, and water vapor, are released into the atmosphere in large quantities during the production and combustion of fossil fuels. These gases help to reduce the amount of thermal energy escaping into space, effectively warming the atmosphere.

Which of these finding suggests a serious illness from a urinalysis?
Roman55 [17]
Although there should be choices in this question, many findings in the urinalysis can point out a serious illness as long as it is clinically correlated. The color of the urine such as tea-colored urine may be a sign of obstruction of the biliary tree such that in choledocholithases or stones in the common bile duct. The consistency of the urine such as when it is hazy may indicate infection or albuminuria. Sugars present in the urine may indicate diabetes mellitus. Increased WBC (or pus cells) and RBC in the urine may point to a urinary tract infection (pyelonephritis) or glomerulonephritis. A positive protein in the urine may indicate albuminuria characteristic of nephrotic syndrome.

In _______ a population isolated by a geographic barrier becomes a new species as it accumulates changes by natural selection or
Mashcka [7]

Answer:

The correct answer is allopatric speciation.

Explanation:

Allopatric speciation occurs when a geographical barrier comes between a species population living in the same area. This geographical barrier separates the population into two different geographical area which do not have the same condition.

So as both the separated population get different habitat environment to live so they evolve differently from each other. So natural selection and genetic drift works differently in both the population which brings genetic changes in the population and helps in creating a new species.
