This might have something to do with how places near the equator have milder seasons. Milder seasons mean that it is harder to tell them apart, so people might have used the moon as a reference instead.

Hope this helps!

The name texas is derived from a caddo indian name meaning what?
laila [671]

Answer:

Texas derived its name from a Caddo word from which means friend.

Explanation:

The word is "teyshas" and while it means friends, it also can mean allies.

Spanish explorers recorded it as Teyas or Tejas in the 1540s, believing that it was a tribal name. Later, it was applied to areas north of the Rio Grande and east of New Mexico.

The state's motto, "friendship," still reflects that heritage.

How to use fossil fuels wisely?
jeka57 [31]
The way how fossil fuels could be used wisely is through a careful planning strategy where we would include and think about the possible distribution methods of fossil fuels around the world for nations which cannot afford and use renewable energy sources. Moreover, they would be more wisely used when less of them would be used for daily needs and when massive companies would transition to renewable energy sources.
