Biology

The main difference between DNA and RNA is their chemical composition namely in their sugar and pyrimidine bases.

DNA has the bases adenine, guanine, cytosine, thymine and the sugar deoxyribose.

RNA has  the bases adenine, guanine, cytosine and uracil and the sugar ribose.

Besides differing chemically, RNA is usually single stranded while most DNA is usually double stranded forming a double helix.

An RNA strand can coil back on itself to form a hairpin-shaped structure with complementary base pairing and helical organization.

Which compounds combine with water vapor to form acid precipitation?
Leno4ka [110]

Answer:

Rain, sleet or snow

Explanation:

Acid rain results when sulfur dioxide (SO2) and nitrogen oxides (NOX) are emitted into the atmosphere and transported by wind and air currents. The SO2 and NOX react with water, oxygen and other chemicals to form sulfuric and nitric acids. These then mix with water and other materials before falling to the ground.
