At 1312 feet below sea level, the dead sea is the lowest point on the earth's surface. The bottom of the Dead sea is considered the lowest point of land on earth. This lies between the border of Israel and Jordon. The lowest point in the sea on earth is the Marianas Trench present below the Pacific ocean. The Dead sea is actually a salt lake. The salinity of the water is so high that floating on the Dead sea is the easiest. The saltiness of the water of Dead sea is approximately 8.6 times higher than any of the present oceans. except for a few bacteria and Fungi, there are no living organisms present in the Dead sea.
