Honestly as far as school goes, it doesn’t really teach us what is essential in life, or things that we need to know like about credit, buying a car, applying for a loan or anything like that. The only essential things you need to know from school are counting, adding subtracting, multiplying, and percentages . In English all you need is grammar basic writing skills and reading. Other than that, school doesn’t teach you about life and how it really is in the world and you’re just forced to figure it out as you go m.. which is very messed up considering you spend all of your child Hood and teenage years in school just to be grown and go back..

What does this quote mean to you? And what was this quote intended to portray?
dedylja [7]
To me it means as a sign for inspiration and honor, and i believe the way the quote was intended to portray is-- Without America fighting for their freedom, risking everything and every life, they wouldn't have been known as people who took a stand and fought for what they deserved. It stands in history as monument to everyone around the world that freedom is always hard fought, but without the courage and the strength to truly want what you feel you deserve and therefore earned....be prepared to lose everything.

Which of these words would best describe the tone of "Rule Britannia"?
Paraphin [41]

A. Patriotic

This is the answer I think, because in the poem it's all about the nation and that it should rule the world.
