Their relationship was not good. The English Settlers and the Native Americans were at constant at war. Compared to the English Settlers, the French Settlers were more accommodating, they were open to the fur trade with the Native Americans.  For the English settlers, they considered the Native Americans as savages and that they should be colonized.
